"All is good now, Allister. Humans are so strong is some areas, however, their little bodies are as weak and exposed as a mountain goat without fur." Zlokaz said, sort of complaining at the end, then added looking at the blood on his back, "There is a decent river a mile north of the Dragon Rock you could wash up in. The humans won't be able to come out until tomorrow, if then." Zlokaz himself was quite shaken after the thing in the water attacked the king, so he figured he would go back to his favorite cave around here and stay the night.
Melkor awoke that night at about 1:30 in the morning. He was sore all over and his head felt like it weighed a thousand pounds. He groaned slightly, and looked at his bandaged self. He was a mess, and he made himself that way. Melkor need to pull himself together, and fast, because the hold he had on his mind was slipping. In a moment he was back under.

Allister nodded and took of, soaring over above the water and dive straight down into it. He came up in a mess of wings and figured that he was clean enough. After Zlokaz had said that they might not even be out the next day, Allister figured it was best if he went home for the night, maybe flying back later the next day.
Amelia felt like she was in a sort of dream state; a sleep of sorts. Slowly the black faded away into a very blurry world in which she could make out large blurs which she assumed were humans. All of the colors seemed to run together, and language was merely a mass of words. The room, if she was even in one, felt like she was spinning, and nausea swept over her. Amelia wanted to go back under into that dream state, but instead her world went black.
The nurses and such did their best to patch up her wounds and now at the moment were attempting to make her body produce enough blood to make it regain consciousness, as they did not have the technology to perform blood transfusions. As a result Amelia was under almost all of the time, but they assumed that by mid day tomorrow she should have at least regained consciousness, even though she might not be in a position to speak until late the that night. They were hoping she suffered no brain damage . . . Losing all of that blood cohorts potentially staved the brain of needed oxygen and caused her to have some brain loss, even though the potential was low.

Zlokaz curled up for the night in a nearby cave. He had needed to carve it out because it was getting a little bit tight in here. When he was younger, he could fir in here and have plenty of room to run and jump in, however those times are long gone, forever changed by that human that is king of the lands. He drifted into a dreamless uneasy sleep.
Melkor awoke for the second time that night to the howls of wolves. That's odd, he though, then added, wolves almost never come up the mountain this far. The fact that it was such a rare and odd thing made the king keep consciousness. It also made him restless with curiosity. With courage, he swung his legs over the side of his warm, soft bed and put his bare feet to the cool, stone floor. After he figured out he could move with only a little complaint from his legs, he was moving around his room freely, hastily getting dressed into his normal clothes and out of the white gown. Melkor burst out of the castle a minute later, ready to go hunting for some wolves. He took the secret exit out of the wall surrounding the castle and was out into the cool night air. The little stoned made a quiet crunching noise as they moved under the king's feet. Right now, Melkor wanted to find the wolves and take a look at them, because they were seen only once in a blue moon.

Amelia's sight was slowly coming back to her. The world was no longer a black viod, but a mess of colors, like someone had split water on the water colored world. She could make nothing out, nor move or speak. The Princess assumed her eyes were just barley open, and she could tell she was rapped in more banges than last time . . . a sign she had either done more damage, or they wanted to make sure she wouldn't be able to slip into her dresses. The faint sound of human voices could be heard, and Amelia was reassured that she was still being taken care of. Along with the voices however, she could hear wolves. The sounds of their howles made her curious, and the 19 year old wanted now more than ever to spring from her bed and chase after them. Sadly, however, she was reminded she was unable to move, and the girl's frustration was building.
Allister couldn't sleep once back at his home. The thought of Amelia bleeding to death made him deeply concerned, and the dragon didn't like not knowing. He got up several times in the night for a mere fight to take his mind off of things, but it failed. He couldn't stop worring for Amelia.

Melkor broke out into a ran as the howls became farther and farther away. He was determined to go and see the wolves so he picked up his pace, but it was no use. They were outrunning him, and he didn't like it. If only I brought a horse! he complained in his head. There was no time to go back and get one, but there was another, faster alternative. His mind called his dragon, and he hoped he would listen.
Zlokaz was jerked out of his sleep because his teeth had found his tail and was biting it. He didn't know how or why it happened, but occasionally it did. And it throbbed. His mind was not 100% awake yet, so he let his body go on autopilot until the sounds of barking, yipping, and growling broke through the silence of the night. He snapped to the attention of the noise, and threw himself into the air to go and have a look to see what they were doing. This wasn't just a pack of wolves, it was at least three good packs together in order to make that much noise. He was drawn from the sounds of wolves by a call in his mind. He rolled his eyes as he remembered he wasn't a free dragon anymore, he was a bound one. The humans could hear the noise as well as he could, and they probably wanted a good look at the dog like creatures too. He veered his course to go look by the wall of the castle for his human.
Melkor shouted, "Zlokaz !" as the dragon passed over him. He landed and they were back up in the air in no time, soaring towards to wolves.

Amelia was like a volcano redy to explode. She wanted to go after the wolves so badly, but she was completely unable to move. All she could do was listen, and was practicly screaming on the inside. She wanted to move so badly, and she promised that once she regains control of her limbs there would be no way anyone could ever keep her still. Oh how badly she wanted to move!
The brunnette's vision had improved slightly. The world around her was now a blur, but she could make out faint shapes. Voices were crystal clear now . . . she could hear some of the nurses talking to her. They must've known she had regained her hearing fully, even though she wasn't moving. They were telling her the most random of things, and even how the king was. They were telling her how the soliders were . . . what they were doing at the moment, and they were saying that they overheard some talk of her . . . what she was doing and how her injuries were. Amelia laughed on the inside. Even the nurses thought she had faovor one of the soldiers.
Allister flew, and didn't bother stopping. The wind under his wings felt good, but it wasn't enough to get the thought of his rider, Amelia, out of his head. He was on his way to the castle to check on Amelia . . . to reaassure his hopes of her being alive. Nothing else seemed to matter.

There was about thirty wolves together. They were only but growing ants to the dragon and his rider. When they flew above them in circles, to wolves seemed to howl taunts for the dragon to come down and fight them. On any other day, Zlokaz would of come down for a nice, deadly brawl, however with so many of them there, it would not be a battle he could win easily.
Melkor laughed at all of the wolves. He had never seen so many before and being obove them was something else. He was clearly above them in power and in height, and he felt very prideful.
Zlokaz wanted to tease the wolves so he dropped about 40 feet and flew close to the ground so the wolves could smell them, but not jump up and bite them. Yes, these two were having a blast living on the dangerous side, and they didn't seem to notice that there was something else in the crowd of wolves.

Amelia could move slightly now. She could blink at the slightly clearer nurses and talk, but she could only speak slowly and in spurts of words. She had never been so worn out from moving her mouth. The kind ladies carried on conversations with her, and asked yes and no questions that Amelia could respond to easily.
She still heard the dogs . . . .their howls distracting her from the conversatoins she had no interest in.
"I-I want . . . to . . . see . . . the w-wolves." she stuttered as clearly as she could. The nurses told her that she couldn't . . . they told her that because she couldn't move they wouldn't allow for her to leave, and even if she could her wounds were too serious for her to be moving around too much.
Amelia was in constant pain from all of the wounds she had recived two days before. She would on occasion moan and flinch from it, wishing that she was healed. The nurses had done what they could do, and now all she needed was time.
Allister picked up speed. Once the castle was insight he perched outside of the building. Realizing that the only people who he could talk to weren't around or able to talk, he took off toward the sounds of wolves.

Where ever Melkor goes, trouble seems to follow.
There was an archer behind a tree who was watching the two fly together. Stupid king! Taxing us and keeping all of the money for himself! Not to mention his great gift of free will to everyone. Basically not giving the towns enough soldiers to protect to villagers from crime doers. he almost spat in disgust. If he could only lodge and arrow into the heart of that horrible man, then all would be good. He picked up a arrow and placed it on his quiver, getting ready to aim. Blast! he thought vigorously. That stupid black dragon of his is moving too fast. Why does he get a dragon and horses? No one else does. That spoiled rat. When he finished making his negative remarks, he got a perfect chance to hit the king with an arrow. He took that chance. A perfectly shot arrow flew through the howling air and pierced the jet black robe of the king before it fell to the ground.
This did not go unnoticed by the rider and dragon. Zlokaz's eyes narrowed as he tried to find the origin of the arrow, while the king, almost mad now, howled with laughter, "Ha! It will take more than arrows to defeat me!"He was done laughing in a moment and was all serious now. "Where did it come from?" he murmured to himself.
The archer hissed as the arrow bounced off. The gears in his mind began turning and thinking of a way to ruin Melkor's night. He had it. The dragon was flying slower now looking for him. He would never find him though because the wolves prevented ground searches and covered his scent, not to mention, a dark forest surrounded him. One of the only ones in Phostire. He put his arrow to quiver again and took aim of what lay below the king. His dragon.

Allister illuminated the night sky with the occasional puff of fire. He was reaching the wolves now, and spotted the king on his dragon. 'he must be feeling better . . . ' he thought. Small streaks of black flew through the sky towrad thing king and his dragon, and what Allister could see, one periced his robe. The dragons alertness had him on the edge, and he could feel anger making the fire inside him grow. Becuase he had seen the arrows fly through the air, he had a general idea of where they had been shot from. He puffed his chest as wide as he could and blew a massive amount of flames in the general direction the arrows had come from.
He hoped he had killed him, but at night the chances of him actually doing that were probably less than fifty fifty.
Amelia was regaining strength in her limbs. She could move her feet and arms now, and the nurses made sure that her bandages were replaced, but the constant howls made her strive to be outdoors at the moment. She was propped up in the bed now, almost all of her vision back.

The archer saw the other dragon from far away (because he was reddish gold and was blowing puffs of fire) and he thought that it was a rouge dragon and it was looking for another dragon to kill. He was very surprised when the dragon blew fire at the forest surrounding him. He have a silent blessing because not a flame touched him, but getting home was going to be a different story. He shrugged, as long as he could place a permanent mark on royalty, his mission would be done. The man was geting ready to do his favorite trick. One shot with two arrows. . .A third and fourth arrow sped through the air, hitting the beast in the wing and neck. Score! he thought as the dragon wailed in surprise and pain.
He crashed to the ground, and thirty wolves were upon them. Zlokaz look up, dazed and saw Allister. "Go back! Go get Amelia!" he roared. This was not his battle.

Allister raced away, and with the castle in sight released a frantic roar loud enough to shake the castle walls. Amelia shot upward, the surprise making her realize that she had regained movement in her abdomin. She moaned and grunted loudly however, because the pain from her wounds had gotten worse.
"Gu-guard-d!" she shouted, waiting for one of the men to rush into the room. Once he had made an appearance, she flipped the covers off of her imobile legs, exposing herself wearing nothing but a gown. Usually wemon covered more, and the guard flinched, turning partly away.
"D-don't le-eave." she stuttered. "I-I need yo-u to carry me-e out-tside to my dra-dragon."
Once he had picked her up slightly awkwardly due to embarassment, he walked her outside and placed her on the dragon's back. Then the gruard retreated.
"The King's dragon has been shot down and is being attacked by the wolves you're hearing now . . . " he stated franticly. Amelia nodded. "I-I can't moved mm-y leg-gs yet." she said as Allister took off. "Bu-ut do no-ot slow for m-me." she told him.
Allister took her to the King and his dragon, where she saw the viciuos wolves attacking her beloved king and his dragon.

Melkor was furious, his anger was past being a volcano erupting. He was like a huge sun about to collide with who ever did this, and their little world is going to get burnt to the ground. Also, he is going to order battle armor for the dragons and his horses. Without thinking, he got out his favorite two handed sword and started mauling through wolves. The were lunging him, biting him and knocking him down. I'll never make it to the forest in time. he thought depressingly. His little ball of hope might be gone, but his need to survive was fueling him, along with colossal anger.
Zlokaz got up shakily, he right wing still has the arrow going though it. Blood was oozing out, exiting the blood lusted wolves even more. They were crowding him so he couldn't move his tail or extent his wings with out getting bitten all over. Instead of fighting with his body, he simply "fell" over and crushed quite a few wolves. This made them more hesitant about approaching the beast, but that didn't stop them from raining down on him. Zlokaz could bee nothing but a deep royal blue infront of him. His mouth had opened and let out this massive amount of fire. The mutts (in his mind) backed away faster than darkness from light. Using this to his advantage, he lessened the amount of flames that were streaming out of his mouth so he could see and made a fire circle around him. After the wolves had backed off, it occurred to him that he had a partner in crime and he needed to be helped. Zlokaz limped across the ring and picked the fallen man up by his tunic, and dragged him across the weakening fire circle, and started to add to it again. He did it with little bursts of fire now because using so much of it had taken its toll on him.
Melkor slowly got up and leaned against his dragon. He wished he could give him his strength, but he could not. The wolves were pretty scattered now. Eleven wolves laid on the ground and would never get up again.
The archer had started running as soon as the wolves attacked. This was almost too easy. All he had to do was get back to the safe house and he was home free. The few burning limbs from the fire helped him find his way while the trees gave him a cloak of invisibility.

Amelia had her dragon dive on the wolves, too fat for them to bite and move away before he coved them in flames. They attacked a safe distance from the king so he wouldn't recive burns, but close enough to make a difference on the numbers attacked. about five chared wolves laid on the ground, and Allister landed to swipe three along the throats, allowing them to colapse and bleed out. Amelia was enraged to the point wanted to ride over to the taritors kome with her dragon and have him burn it to the ground along with everyone inside.
She looked to the king while Allister was attacking. 'If only I could walk over and help him . . .' she thought, her imobile legs limply laying in the dragon's side.
She wasn't sure how many they had killed when it was safe enoughg to approah the king and dragon without being attacked.

Melkor sheathed his sword as the fire circle died out. He could see that help had managed to come and that soon, they could go home. He managed a smile and with a hoarse voice said, "Having fun yet?"
Zlokaz sniffed a silent thank you to Allister, then stated aloud, "We can chat in the air. We have no reason to stay here." He did not feel that having a bloody human on his back would do him much good, so he flapped his wings a few times to hover above the ground, and picked Melkor up with his arms. He forgot all about the archer and was solely thinking about gritting his teeth and huffing with pain. Was that all is world was now, pain? He got hurt, then healed only to get hurt again. He was tired of all of traps and routines they went through. At this point, the dragon was done. There was no way Melkor could order him back like a dog if he was in the hospital. Good bye humans and hello free will. he thought pleasantly to himself. No one would know until it was too late.
The great black castle was in view now and it was only a minute until they hit the ground. Everyone in the air could see the party of soldiers and doctors waiting at the entrance for them.
