"First things first. You can call me father. I do not like to be called 'my lord' by family. And I want to hear what kind of weapon I can get you for getting your dragon. The law will not apply to what ever you choose, and I'll get you the best blacksmith that will customize your new weapon. Speaking of your dragon, where is he? I'd love to formally meet him since out last encounter wasn't so nice. In addition, we need to review what being a princess is all about, and I have a quick mission for you." Melkor was pleased with his speech and wanted to see what kind of weapon she would choose.
Zlokaz flew silently through the night sky, looking at the stars above him, and the shadows below. The cool, crisp air was the perfect temperatue. I love flying. he thought to himself.

"Yes . . . Father." she managed to say in a casual tone. "I have no idea where Allister is," Amelia stated, slightly concerned. "And as for the weapon . . . " she paused in thought. "I would like something that was smaller than a sword, but would allow me to make stab wounds along with decapitating someone . . . " she stated, her voice trailing as a malicious smile spread access her face. "A mission? What sort of mission?" the girl inquired, tone growing more inclined with the conversation.
Allister soared through the air, slowing down and dropping in altitude as he neared the castle. His Amelia needed his protection from that other dragon and unfamiliar people around the castle. He dropped to the ground lightly in front of the building, uncertain of where he could enter and protect his girl without getting attacked, as he was unfamiliar with this castle.

The king nodded as she stated the kind of weapon she wanted. He'd have the blacksmith on it as soon as possible. He'd get into the complicated details later. Right now she was focused on her upcoming mission. "There is a traitor in this very kingdom who is trying to gather my own people against me. Rebel forces are not what what we need right now. My troops are focused on our borders because the Kingdom of Enrotium is getting a little edgy and they think they have what it takes to take me. Before this rebel gets too much support under his fingers, I need him to disappear and make it look like a spy from Enrotium did it so their views will be focused on them." he finished. It was going to be a tough mission, and he hoped she was ready for it.
Zlokaz saw a golden flying figure in the distance. He gave a small snarl and picked up speed, making his wings beat faster and faster, making a whhiring noise that was only heard by him. When he got close enough, he let out a quiet roar that symbolized a formal greeting and landed on the campus of the castle. "Hello, brother. " was all that rumbled from his chest. He dipped his head in greeting, then waited for the others reply.

She nodded. "When do I start?"
Amelia took another sip of her wine, pondering ideas of how she could make it look like the Enrotiums killed him. "Who is this person you speak of?" she asked, wondering if she knew him. "I might need the aide of some of your soldiers to make the assassination successful."
There she went, bringing up the warriors that these rumors where about. How many times had she mentioned them around the king? Amelia mentally slapped herself.
Allister responded with a greeting to the black figure that landed beside him. "Do you know how I can get inside?" he asked, motioning towards the castle with his tail.

"You shall start one week from tomorrow. This man by the name of Durereas lived on the far side of the kingdom, about 20 miles from the border. He has about 250 followers and is guarded every night like you and I would be, however, he doesn't live in a castle, just a one story home. The house plans will be given to you later in the week. You may take however many soldiers you need to complete the task." he responded in a businesslike way. Then added, " What do you need them for? I have stolen a few weapons that Enrotium uses for the job"
Zlokaz rumbled, " I shall not tell such a rude dragon. You don't even have the courtisey to tell the dragon who would have killed you hello? You don't need to worry about her. She's perfectly safe. The humans guard the castle and no one in there has ever been harmed. You are making yourself look like a fool by being like a dog to her. Protecting her and wanting to be around her. I like Melkor's presence, but I can live without him." he finished. His tail was twitching back and forth to show annoyance.

"I know quite a few who are clever enough to help me come up with a way in, and if this place is as guarded as you say I will be needing protection and, depending on what the plans are, some extra faces to distract the guards away from me. " she paused and took a large sip of her wine, becoming nervous that the king might be growing suspicious of her. "How old is he? I might be able to get my foot in the door by gradually seducing him . . . I suppose age isn't a factor when it would come to that. Older men are always chasing younger women. But it depends on his age and the plan devised. "
She cleared her throat and poured the remainder of wine in her glass down her throat, only to refill the glass. "So you mentioned something about Princesses earlier," she said, trying to change the subject.
"Hello . . ." he snarled. "Are you pleased now?"
Allister swiped around and took off. This darker colored dragon made him . . . agitated, and he decided he wasn't worth his time.

"Alright. If you say you need them, then take them. He is thirty nine years old, and his birthday is next week. He should not be a problem for you. Good luck explaining your new scars. Say a griffin marked you up. About being a princess. You are going to have to give a speech to your people about you becoming a princess and stuff like that in 1 1/2 weeks. Why so close together? Because if the people believe that you have been here at the castle the whole time then there will be no doubt in their mind that you were not responsible for the traitor's death. Its at least a weeks ride from here, but only two days on a dragon. " Melkor felt as though he had talked enough and was eying the bottle of wine himself.
Zlokaz chuckled as the golden dragon took off. He didn't like his attitude, but his actions were so uncalled for that he had to chuckle. "I can get her out for you if you want." He bellowed back. He turned his head towards the keep and gave a loud roar that almost shook the stone like an earthquake.
Melkor heard the roar and jumped to his feet in surprise. "Amelia, come, the dragons await." He was walking down the hall, not bothering to wait for her.

Amelia nodded and stood, dumping the remainder of the wine in her glass down her throat and then limping after the king as fast as she could. He had quickly lost her and her crippled walk, and Amelia grunted slightly in pain. Luckily for her a guard was nearby and was able to carry her outside. The male gently placed her on her feet aside the king. "She was having trouble . . . Um, walking up here sir." he stated quietly without making eye contact. Amelia turned to him and thanked him quietly, and the guard went back inside the castle to his posted position. "Alcohol and injuries don't make a good combination when it comes to walking," she said with a chuckle.
Allister swooped downward once he saw someone carrying his Amelia out of the castle. He landed next to her, aknowlaging the pressure of the king and his dragon with a nod.
"How do do?" he asked the black dragon, acting as if they second encounter had never happened.

Melkor wasn't pleased to see one his his guards carrying his daughter outside. He merely said to himself, "I could of helped you." He chuckled and agreed with the next statement she said. Melkor was studying the two dragons to see if they got along, and from the looks of it, it looked as if they did.
Zlokaz smiled just for a second at the golden dragon's new attitude. He liked him better when Amelia was around. "Just fine, thank you. And you...?" He was trying to get the name out of this one. "We cannot go into the castle, for we are much to big and there is no need. You see, they come to us." he told the uninformed dragon. "Now, If we are all set here, let's get going"

"But you were too far ahead," she said to her father. "That guard was conveniently walking down the hall when I needed him." she smiled. That's what he gets for leaving her behind.
"I am fine." stated Allister. "Go where?" he inquired, unsure if the dragon meant home, or actually taking the humans somewhere. He flexed the muscles in his powerful wings, wanting to show Amelia the wonders of flying with him without her being a bloody mess.

The king dismissed the nextg comments by his daughter, nit to be rude but because it would just make him upset, and he wanted to only be happy when he was flying. "Perhaps we shall go somewhere only dragons can get to like the 7 tiered waterfall? Or where ever our dragons want to take us. I'll let you discover the things about flying by yourself. Zlokaz is right. Standing here talking is a waste of time. Let's go!" Melkor took the familiar seat just behind Zlokaz's withers and a foot in front of his wings.
Zlokaz followed Allister's train of thought and replied, "No, humans don't go to out home. Only once to bind to a dragon. They don't need to go to our home." He didn't speak like he normally did, he used body language to say what he was saying, because he didn't want the humans to ease drop on their conversation.

She climbed onto her dragon, which had to lay down in order for her crippled self to mount. He flexed his powerful wings once and was off. Amelia tried to stay on as best as possible while they flew, his smoothed over scales making a slippery surface in which to remain seated. Once she had gotten over the fear of falling, she realized the beauty in her surroundings. The stars were especially bright tonight, and she breathed in the fresh air that they were flying through.
Allister gained speed once he felt Amelia was comfortable. Laughed, spinning and spiraling in the air as entertainment to her. He could feel her grasp tighten, so he slowed back down once again, allowing her to get comfortable.
"How's the ride?" he asked her. She responded with a simple, "Amazing."

The king laughed as they did their tricks. It didn't matter how many times he flew, the reaction was always the same. The adrenaline pumping, cool air whisping, and the wind pushing all of the hair out of your face. He loved it. "Zlokaz , let's show them what flying is all about" Melkor challenged. Zlokaz replied by picking up speed and doing a series of vertical dives followed by twists upward and the occasional loopy loop. Blue streaks of flame were added here and there. After showing off moves that they hadn't done in such a long time, both rider and dragon were huffing for breath.
Melkor smiled triumphantly and asked the Princess, "What did you think of that?"

She smiled at her father's enjoyment of flying. "That was amazing." she told him, laughing slightly. She asked Allister to slow, as her abdominal wounds were beginning to hurt. She laughed at the fact her father, right after receiving serious injuries, has her flying. A small circle of liquid had collected on her red dress, but Amelia dismissed it. Flying was two important. She figured she had ripped out some of her stitches.
"You may pick of speed again," she said to her dragon, and he flew slightly faster. He was concerned that, with her injuries, she shouldn't do too much complicated maneuvers. Allister looked over at the other dragon. He was having more fun. 'Maybe I shouldn't have ripped her to shreds . . . ' he pondered.

Zlokaz could smell blood and sniffed, "Are you alright? Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea so soon, but we shouldn't wait. You are going to fly for two days straight, so we need you to build up muscle to make it through and still be able for you to do your job. " Once they picked up some speed though, his worrying halted. She'll be fine. he scolded himself. His mind returned to the golden dragon and Zlokaz growled, "I never caught your name. Do you care to share it?"
The king was worried too, however he knew that a little wound wound not stop the head assassin from doing anything. Even if she couldn't fly fast and do tricks, that didn't mean he couldn't. Through a series of nudging in his legs, he silently to Zlokaz to pick up speed, then do a steep dive.
In moments they were dropping like a stone towards the rocky ground. The human sitting upon him couldn't even look down because there was only a blur of the Earth to look at. His senses warned him that if he didn't pull up in a second, then he and Earth would collide, and he knew who would win that war. His wings snapped open and caught a breeze that lifted them 5 feet off the ground. Zlokaz's talons were slightly touching the ground, until he effortlessly angled his wings upward and flapped them in big, powerful strokes.
